Had from there a few times now. Food is always good. Good vegan menu too and staff are helpful and friendly.
They say first impressions last... I had high hopes but unfortunately my first visit has turned out to be my last. It was clear that the fish & chips were a bit undercooked as they were a very light golden colour instead of golden brown. I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt but batter & chips were both soggy and not crispy. The first few mouthfuls were OK but the rest was inedible. A shame because the decor and everything in the shop is really impressive, but the part that matters wasn't up to scratch.
Like the quality, but the portion size seems to be getting worse. Always been happy to pay over the odds (our standard order comes to 11 everywhere else, but 13 here), as its nice, but the last few times there seems to be barely any quantity. Had chicken meat and salad, and it was 3/4 lettuce. Most places do a whole layer of meat, covered in salad. And the chip portion didn't even fill the container. Such a shame, as its a good quality place.
