The team here are incredible and I couldn’t say more positive things about the doctors and the hospital overall. I have a high risk pregnancy and the care and support I am receiving throughout is best in class.

I'm not sure what the 2 complaining about below are talking about (although they sound like Swedish Hospital shills since they both recommend it instead). Of course there are residents and lots of them because it's a teaching hospital, but the attending is always present. My wife was seen by Dr. Kachikis throughout her entire pregnancy and the doctor was there at 7 am when labor started, checked on us throughout the day before heading home, and came back at 2:30 in the morning when baby was ready to be born to get us through the last hour. Aside from the doctor in charge of my wife's overall care, there were several residents and attendings on call for labor and delivery, a dedicated nurse just for her throughout labor, pediatricians and lactation specialists for after birth, and a slew of others to help my wife get the best care possible. We cannot recommend highly enough.

I was I. The care of Dr.Cheng who took me on as a patient due to neglect at another hospital. She is one of the most caring and knowledgeable doctors. I enjoyed the rest of my pregnancy in her care and the care of her team. Thank you for safely delivering my girls.!

Unsafe care for high risk pregnancies. First-year residents deliver all babies at this hospital without informed consent of patients. They don't listen to patients about their wishes or knowledge about their own conditions. I have had diabetes for many years, and they didn't care what I thought. My baby and I both suffered at the hands of inexperienced residents with no supervision. I don't trust this hospital. Swedish First Hill is a much safer place to have a baby for anyone who is high risk.

This place is absolutely amazing. This was the only office that would see me for being “high risk” when I was 26 weeks pregnant, I had just moved, and needed prenatal care. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. They were so amazing that I came back for my third child (second pregnancy at UW). I switched over from Swedish First/Cherry hill, and it was the best decision I ever made. They respected every one of my decisions, they answered all my questions, they helped me with charity for my bills when my insurance didn’t cover everything for my visits and my child’s birth. They see you on time for every appointment, you aren’t waiting for 30-40 minutes to be seen after you are checked in. I came in multiple times during my last pregnancy because I kept thinking I was in labor when I wasn’t, and their after hours labor and delivery staff were completely respectful and didn’t get annoyed by me coming in all the time crying wolf. This is honestly the best hospital I’ve ever been to and the doctors are the most educated I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I also got amazing support with breastfeeding and was able to breastfeed my last two children! I didn’t think I could with my first and gave up because I had no help or guidance! This clinic is outstanding. I can’t thank it enough for helping me birth my two babies vaginally without assistance (episiotomy, forceps, suction). They taught me how to push! No medical intervention needed like I did with my first at Swedish. That shows a lot about what kind of staff they have and their education & patience.
