My wife and I love this place. We love the family and the environment it brings. The food is really delicious, you won't be disappointed. We order everything and always satisfied everytime. Alofa Atu my Hawaiian family!!!

I'm not really a huge fan of hand rolls but Kauai Family Restaurant changed my view of it. I got the 4 hand roll set and all the hand rolls were so fresh and delicious. It was nice to watch the sushi chef make the rolls right in front of me. The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant is that it's really small and it's really hard to talk to friends in here because it can get kind of loud. I would recommend groups of 2-3 and I would recommend coming here at an off time. I came here during lunch hours at around 12pm and the line was out the door.
Excellent, authentic Hawaiian/Adobo, etc./Pacific Islander style food. Friendly staff. It's the real deal. Only wish afternoon/evening hours were extended.
As of Nov 2020 they are open for takeout. Been a fan of Kauai Family for several years. Don't get to eat here frequently because I live further north so it's not convenient, but am always excited when I'm on the south end of Seattle during their busines hours. Love their ginger chicken and kalua pork. Also, on the weekends they do malasadas. Sooooo delicious and amazingly cheap.
