Resources personnel are outgoing, friendly and professional. The food bank would suffer little if any in the absence of check station holders. No-prep bag recipients a good canned lunch bag but restricted from healthy fruit and vegetables including beverages. Ballard, North Helpline in lake City and University District Food Banks are worth a look. Dependant upon zip code.

A SIGN POSTED IN TWO DIFFERENT SPOTS STATES: unattended items placed in or around the building will be immediately removed. I stood in line for almost an hour before a lady came up to me and said I needed to be at the end of the line..... If your not with your bag and the security guy isn't doing his job by removing the bags laying on the ground. Than there is a problem.

I appreciate the kindness of everyone working there. The care and food provided are a blessing. I especially appreciate \Nancy\ who is responsible for helping to check people in at the head of the line. I have been back in the line many times and observed her handle tough calls deftly but with kindness as well as empathy. As someone who never thought to find myself needing and using a food bank...I hope they're all just like Nancy!

We all love Alex the security guard. He needs a raise for babysitting. If y'all can't move at a decent pace
