The day program is great. They make sure that pretty much every staff member knows your name...even if it's been weeks or months since they've seen you, you walk into the \Big Room\ and the staff all welcomes you and knows your name. The nurses are great and they are so helpful. Not feeling well on a Sunday afternoon, you can go in and see a nurse and they will help you out. The case managers are great, too. Very helpful and they will check in with you by phone if you don't show up for meds each week...some people might find that invasive, but when I was home sick with the flu for over a week with no one to help me, it was nice to get a call from my case worker to make sure I was okay. There are activities, showers, laundry facility, nap room and 3 meals a day...with a dinner size hot meal for lunch. They are now open from 6:30 am til 4 pm (except Weds when it closes at 2 pm for a weekly staff meeting). Great place, great staff. Highly recommended.
