Just the cutest place! Parking available at the village hall for a donation in the well next to the forge. Nice flat easy walk to the beach where there is then a cafe. Beach is pebbles and dog friendly but not ideal for dogs with the pebbles as they are. The village is just beautiful and its lovely to see the forge. Sadly the tea room was closed but I loved the thatched houses. Highly recommend!!

Only used the national trust car park as the mill is shut at the moment. However, we walked down past the milk and it looked like a lovely spot to stop when it reopens. As for the car park it's quite small but in a good spot. There is room for maybe 6-8 cars excluding the ones reserved for national trust properties. It's a good spot to start a walk down to Branscombe mouth (about 1 mile) and on to Beer, which is what we did (about 10 km).

Stunning, dramatic landscape turning from dreamy little English village nestled in a deep, verdant valley to breathtaking Jurassic coastline within a walk of just 20 minutes.
