A top class portion of fish and chips from a very traditional chip shop. They get busy and you may have to que but you would expect this from any great fish and chip shop....and trust me its worth the wait. The portions are good and the price is competative and there usually as fresh as they come. They do a meal for 2 deal, fish chips twice and mushy peas or curry sauce twice for a crisp 10.00 You cant go wrong....and they sell dandelion and burdock.....happy days

Chips were undercooked and still raw, took them back for them to recook my order there and then, and guess what... still raw!! Sausage was literally just cooked! Never again!! Better chippy up the road!

Very tasty fish and chips. Portions were on the small size though!

Good fish and chips although the fish does seem to vary in quality occasionally going from top class to bland, whether it’s just a seasonal thing or lower grade fish being supplied by their supplier I’m not sure but it’s something they need to watch out for as variation puts customers off, when they are good they are definitely worth trying and especially as they usually cook when you order (which I prefer) rather than having fish already cooked and while keeping hot it does dry it out, chips are usually very good with good portion sizes, mushy peas are nice too, but getting a bit too expensive for a local 'chippy' so don’t go quite as often nowadays and although I don’t mind paying for good quality I dislike paying top price for the odd occasion when it’s mediocre quality which is what deters me sometimes!
