On our holidays and was passing. Decided to stop for lunch as it looked a quirky little place. I was met with polite and pleasant faces who were ready to help immediately. The Cafe was superbly clean and tidy and had a great look and vibe. I ordered the fish and it was brilliant. Cooked perfectly, not too heavy and with everything you need. Thanks for a great meal

Set on the edge of the beach this bar/restaurant is the perfect place for a little light refreshment. Food is available from an extensive menu but breakfast isn't available. Patio area for drinks only but perfect for the four legged friends. The ice cream from the parlour is to die for and comes in a variety of flavours. There's always a fast moving queue which always indicates the quality! Eat, drink and be merry at the sea shanty!

Best fish and chips ever, big portions and a great menu. Always a friendly atmosphere and great to seethe covid measures applied well. Would recommend millionaire ice cream for desert

Absolutely awesome food. My partner had Fish and Chips with the largest piece of fish we've ever seen in a meal! And my portion of scampi was equally generous. But belly filling portions aren't everything if the meal isn't prepared properly and ours were spot on. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive, and took great care to observe the covid 19 prevention measures. I'd thoroughly recommend Sea Shanty Cafe.

Looking forward to returning for another meal :) In all honesty I couldn't fault this place. Myself and a colleague were looking for somewhere nice to eat whilst working nearby and Sea Shanty Cafe came as a recommendation. I tried to book online but it didn't look like space was available.. But after a quick phone call we had a reservation. There was parking near by.. but don't forget to bring some change for the meters in busy seasons. There is a really nice variety of food here, meaty grills, fish dishes, pizza.. (check their website for menus) The restaurant became busy while we were there but it wasn't overpowering when full unlike many other places. It was a really enjoyable atmosphere to eat in. Staffing levels were good and all were attentive too so you never had to wait too long for a next dish or drink and felt well looked after. Deserts were offered but never felt pressured in to having extras. A great local establishment.
