Really enjoyed our dinner of scallops in garlic butter starter followed by monk fish in a creamy curry sauce with roasted cauliflower - superb. The Sea Kitchen offers a short menu of about 5 starters and mains - all freshly cooked in the open plan restaurant and served very promptly.

Definitely our best meal of a 14 night stay in Looe. Great chowder and the mains of Brill and Sole were exceptional. Service was good and we had a lovely bottle of SB wine to accompany our meal. The Sea Kitchen could IMHO be described as a gastro restaurant unlike the offerings in many of the other local eateries.
Absolutely stunning. I had the Portuguese baked crab and my wife had scallops to start, both of Which were delicious. We both opted for the whole lobster as a main and it was sublime, I really couldn't have asked for more. Even the salad and potatoes it was served with were excellent. The Tiramisu I had for dessert was average but my wife's chocolate fudge cake was nice. A very minor negative and completely understandable as these are not what a seafood restaurant should be known for! Staff were friendly, attentive and lovely to deal with and it was nice to be able to see the kitchen area and note that it was clean and well managed. The menu was not extensive and that's a good thing as it was still hard to choose as everything sounded so good and if what we did end up choosing is anything to go on, it will be! We will absolutely eat here again while on holiday in Looe!
