For a rather small ski-region, Motta Naluns really is an insiders' tip. It's one of a few places not yet overrun by tourists. The slopes were in great condition and skiing them was a ton of fun. Restaurants are well-located and easy to find. For freeriders there is also much to do and to explore, as there are many hills and hillsides not yet flattened out by the snow groomers. The deep snow quality was phenomenal! The food is quite expensive, but that's just Switzerland.

If you travel from Zurich you will likely have to change trains in Landquart and from there you will arrive to Scuol Tarasp in about an hour and a half. The aerial tramway is just steps away from the train station, you can't miss it. It will take you 15 minutes to reach the summit and from there you can hike in many different directions and enjoy the breathtaking view! By the way is only one counter to buy tickets which means it might take a while if it is too crowded.
