Great restaurant. I have not been disappointed on any of my trips here. They had a special valentine's menu tonight. We had the Steak Diane and the Shrimp Cous Cous. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare with a nice char and a smooth and mild mushroom cream sauce. The shrimp had a nice blackened kick and extremely tasty. Finished the meal with a lava cake with caramel sauce. Excellent and smooth carmel sauce and a moist lava cake. Cocktails were marginal. Sheri was a great server. Attentive but not overbearing.

We enjoyed an amazing brunch at Scout today! It was our first time dining out since Covid started in March. We made a reservation for noon and social distancing was absolutely no problem. Staff and customers all wearing masks and we were sat remotely away from other diners. Service was top notch and the food blew us away. My husband had the Phoenix with Nashville style hot chicken and cheddar waffle and I had the Farmer’s Fritatta. After this meal, I may have to give them best brunch in the city. We had dined at Scout previously but the new brunch menu from their new chef exceeded expectations. And the mimosas we ordered just put this meal over the top.
I really wanted to like this place. Great view and looks fabulous from the outside. It was completely dead on a Sunday evening. Crazy. But it happens- that is nothing critical. The Rye Old Fashioned was one of the best I have ever had. I made this review to talk about it. Super fresh and the drink was just a jolt to me. I loved it I got two. The food was 'meh' at best. The ahi tuna salad was mixed greens and tuna that lacked any seasoning. There was nothing fancy at all and I was not looking for a balloon or anything but it was very very basic and looked like they could not care less. I even had to get more dressing since it had nearly no flavor to the dish at all. My friends hanger steak was excellent. We left in a so-so mood. I don't know if I will go back unless it is to get another drink. I just wish the food has more flavor to it.
My favorite neighborhood eatery. The service is great, the management attentive. And the food is absolutely great!! Kid friendly with great outdoor patio for date nights too!
