Excellent quick service, I had a reservation but was able to be seated sooner than our appointed time. The food was fresh,not surprised since we are right by the water. Fried calamari had a perfect consistency of batter, texture and flavor. I had to try the crab cake sandwich, I was not disappointed in the moist and crispy cake on a beautiful brioche bun they served me. I had a crack in my glass, I alerted the waiter to prevent any accidents/messes, he replaced the glass and beverage right away. I had to pass on the dessert, I was much too full to proceed. I recommend this place to anyone trying to have a peaceful dinner with terrific service. The price is also great for the quality of food.
Delicious food! Had the sea scallops and shrimp! Also tried the shrimp pasta which was amazing .. the lemon butter sauce was fantastic! The salad and sourdough was great. The truffle fries were good and the crab cakes were fantastic as well!! Great atmosphere on the water! Would go back!!
Food favorites - definitely recommend the crab cakes and clam chowder! Both were amazing. Experience - staff was really friendly and it was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the views. The patio is dog friendly which was perfect for our pup! Service was a little slow at times but we were busy most of the time in good company. Price - coming from Chicago I thought things were slightly overpriced here, even for seafood but maybe that’s normal to the area. Overall would recommend!
A San Francisco institution that has adapted with the times. Kudos to Scoma’s for keeping the show going with great to go food and beverage. The out door dining options are really great now, especially if the weather is nice. The hosts, bartenders, wait staff and kitchen are all very kind and smiling. The food quality is really great and the prices are reasonable. Always fresh amazing g quality fish and seafood. The chowder and crab bisque are amazing. The calamari is a favorite. The sourdough is on point. Make sure to stop by especially if the weather is nice. Make a rez if you don’t want to wait but waiting around with a drink soaking in the scene ain’t so bad. Spicy margarita is excellent. Thanks!
