We were looking for a late dinner and just found a free table at the Schwendi. It's located between many other restaurants and bars. We very enjoyed our stay with homemade beer and local specialities. The service was very good. Thanks!

Convenient, good prices and service! I’d found this French general delicacy, if the visitors are not looking for exquisites then, this is a fare choice. The flammkuchen(pancakes) is great! But anyhow those Quiche with heavy cream taste rather fat for me but they are tasty for some others. So be aware of what is your preference.

A very cozy place in the city center of beautiful Colmar. Very friendly waiters and very quick delivery. I had the Springtime Flamkuch, which was absolutely delicious! (Although I gotta add I was still a bit hungry afterwards) In short: a top location, delicious food and a cozy and friendly atmosphere! Definitely would recommend it!

Had a late dinner here and was happy they would take us in. We sat outside and ordered the baekeoffe and the Alsatian pizza. As not much of an alcohol drinker, I found the stew a bit overwhelming with the white wine, although I appreciate that this is probably the traditional way of cooking it. The pizza was good, overall a decent experience.

Pretty decent restaurant that serves local cuisine, offers multilingual menus, and is open all day (doesn't close between lunch and dinner). Husband had the Springtime rosti and I had the sauerkraut with potatoes and various pork. My dish was, as expected, much too large! I didn't need an entire slice of ham, and I only ate half the mountain of sauerkraut. It was a little bland for my tastes, so I used the commercially packaged Dijon mustard on the table. (French Dijon is much hotter than American Dijon.) Husband's rosti was very good, and he totally could've ordered the vegetarian version and helped me with all that pork on my plate. Service could've been more attentive and friendlier, but I'm not sure if they were that way because they were busy or because we spoke no French and they were shy with their English? Anyway, it was a convenient place to eat a late lunch of local cuisine, but it's not a must-try.

Fun and fabulous. Nice choices of local cuisine at affordable prices. Friendly staff and quick service make for a fab go to when looking for a variety to suit the different tastes in your group. The ambiance is exactly what you would expect from a pub style restaurant. Warm and welcoming on a chilly day and worth the visit.
