Schwartz Bakery

I was driving around the neighborhood and I wanted some pastry. I was in heaven when I saw all types of delicious pastries. The taste is amazing and it's not so sweet just perfect. Sol definitely be coming here again. I'm so happy I found a place that is close to home and also good food.

Ham & Cheese- Had to wait a little extra time for these, but we had these fresh from the oven! Extremely flaky and buttery, and a hefty serving of ham in the middle (compared to some of the pics I've seen), these did not disappoint! Chocolate Croissant- Not as buttery and flaky as the ham and cheese, but for the chocolate lovers, this definitely does not skimp on the amount chocolate! Was also really pleased with this pastry!

Note they have other food here, mostly of the sandwich variety. Thought the cheeky menu names were clever and funny if not a little depressing. They've got indoor and outdoor seating here and the shop itself it less than a block of of Fig. Will def still support our local mom and pop shops when it comes to stocking up on pastries, but Schwartz Bakery does a great job for the occasional treat!

This place is an adorable addition to the area. I love getting to support a local business that supports the military (and students and industry workers) with discounts! You might think gourmet cupcakes and such are pricey, but their happy hours and deals from Instagram also make it an affordable treat. Plus, they do a free birthday treat. I'll be back every Scorpio season!
