Love the location and the decor, if you like planes you will love the place and the view. They have 3 beers on tap, unfortunately the Bitterballen had almost no filling.

Horrible service, friendly but totally not professional. Fortunately the food was good. Next table got cold soup. They had to send it back. Another table got the wrong sandwich. Real bad management. Would be surprised if this restaurant is still there next year.
The Dakota Cafe is based on the famouse Douglas DC-3 airplane and is located on the top floor of the terminal next to the open air promenade. Its a nice place to enjoy a breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the summer you can walk onto the promenade deck and watch the airplanes take off.
I ate dinner at Dakotas a year ago. I had a salad and some dutch dishes that tasted just fine. Service was okay but it took a while to flag down someone for the bill. Not sure what it was but something made me ill. Might have been food poisoning but I'm not sure. I wouldn't go there again.
Terrible slow service, overpriced food that isn't worth the wait. Not enough staff and they're always overworked. Avoid this place until they get better

I have been coming here for many years to have a beer and sit on the terrace, before my flight. I do not eat here. I see the reviews recently are mostly poor. This could be because the bar is closing on the 5th March. Not surprising that the staff lack motivation. They say it will reopen in 2 years, but who knows. The bigger restaurant opposite is becoming a KLM lounge! I shall miss the bar, it was a reading way to while away time before facing the security queue.
