The food here is authentic and delicious. The portions are absolutely massive. The restaurant is decorated like a hunters lodge with wooden walls and fireplaces. I loved everything I ate here. I recommend the white borscht soup and the pork cutlet with mushrooms. Carolina our waitress was very friendly.

I don't have any experience with Polish food, but I was the only English-speaking person there so it has to be legit! The portions are big and heavy. I couldn't even see the plate through all the food. The ambience is super cool too. It feels like you are in a Polish log cabin. It's the perfect place to get warmed up while it's winter in the city. Besides why drink vodka at home alone when you could be surrounded by beautiful Polish women??
What can you say about Polish food.... it is darn good, tasty, yummy and filling. Bacówka serves variety of classic polish dishes and also added some not so Polish ones( kebab) but all of them are freshly prepared, nicely served and plain yummy. And let us not forget the drinks...plenty to chose from but for a cold winter day I would recomende grzaniec(hot wino polish style) the way they serve it..grzaniec stays warm all evening!
If you appreciate home made, authentic Polish cuisine you must come here and try Bacowka's decadent sampler platter. I absolutely loved my meal and I'm going to tackle the ample leftovers tonight! The sample has a taste of everything which includes potato pancakes that are thin and crispy, buttery pierogis, a juicy well spiced sausage,, sauerkraut cabbage stuffed with pork meat, and mashed potatoes. Before your meal arrives you are given a platter of bread, wurst for your bread and a pickle. The ambiance here is extremely cozy and there's even an outside patio when the weather permits. The interior is extremely relaxing with wood tables and the staff here is super friendly and knowledgeable about their cuisine. The food here is prepared with love, very filling and extremely delicious. I'll definitely be back to try the other dishes. Highly recommended if you enjoy Polish food.
