Location by the water and in amongst other restaurants is perfect, large outdoor areas front and back. Decor and ambience is spot on. The menu is huge and everything I ordered tasted great. For some the food could be on the spicy side as there is a lot of fresh chilli on many dishes so just ask for less or more Even the dessert was surprisingly good

Despite making a reservation, only being spoken to at the entrance 20 mins later, as nobody was around, (respecting their COVID guidelines and not entering the building to look for someone until checked), being seated 40 mins later from the reservation time. Front of house was poor. Drinks were watered down above the normal standard you come to expect at a restaurant. I will be fair in saying the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Presentation was fine, but taste was very average. Nothing special. Only saving grace was a pleasant young man called Ibaad, who was on his 1st day on the job. His customer service was great, and even though he wasn't fully upto speed with everything as you'd expect, he managed expectation, and was the best part of the visit. 3rd visit here, and each time trying to give it another chance. Much better establishments in Manchester for similar food, environment, and price. Indian Tiffin Room, Dishoom etc. A local takeaway may offer you better service, tastier food, at a price to reflect. Honest review.
Food is good. Atmosphere is ok. Presentation of food is brilliant.
Atmosphere and interior is amazing. Service is good and the wait for food isn't long. Only came here for a quick lunch with little appetite, but it was definitely worth it! Food was nice, seasoned very well and dishes are authentic. The menu is quite pricey so if you come here make it a big evening meal/late lunch. Seating by the canal outside is lovely in this weather, shisha and tea is also served at the entrance area but there is a shisha-free zone for food. Highly recommend and will be visiting again with an empty stomach!
Food was ok..I have had better indian curry somewhere else before. The atmosphere is nice and drinks are great. But the waiters seemed so busy and not attentative, which was quite disappointing. When we got the bill first time, they did not even calculate the total. The waiter took the bill back and gave us the wrong total with extra drinks added which we didnt even have. The, we had to ask for the bill again to another waiter. It took us nearly half an hour of waiting to pay our bill. Quite disappointing!
