The Hollywood Plaza cinema is an old traditional cinema; being of an age that I can remember such cinemas I can say it is a fine example. The foyer and cinema were in a good state of repair, the staff friendly and the place was clean and tidy. The seating is the the old fold up type but there was good leg room (I'm big). I have no hesitation in recommending this cinema. Off street parking available nearby.
Old, dated, not very comfortable seats. You can't prebook tickets, which is very frustrating. Friendly enough staff and the main auditorium is beautiful.
I love this traditional cinema. Modern yet nostalgic. My one reservation, having a family member with severe hearing loss, there appears to be no scheduled subtitled showings. I wonder whether this could be addressed?
