Lovely place to go, excellent customer service and brilliant value for money! Definitely don't leave hungry as their portion sizes are huge and delicious! 2 drinks and 2 meals for less than 30, couldn't be happier, definitely recommend! Support your local pubs.

Great food at an affordable price, drinks are extra but water is good for you too,and its free. The fish and chips are great and you wont come out still feeling hungry. This is enough to keep you full until tomorrow lunch/dinner.

Went here for the first time on Wednesday after a day at play dale farm with the kids, it was an amazing experience, I told my husband about it and he wanted to visit, so we went for Sunday lunch later in the week, there was 6 of us plus my 11 week old grand daughter in her car seat on the floor by our table. We were shown to a table of six and started to look at the menu, then a very rude person told us we would not be served today as we had broken the rule of six, fair enough, we didn't understand the rules (we thought an 11 week old baby in a car seat would not count) the way we were spoken to was appalling, the waitress came to our table and told us we would not be getting served today for breaking the rules, in a very loud voice, then others in the pub started looking at us like we were criminals, we had to leave there and then, we found somewhere else to eat! I appreciate we weren't up to scratch with the rules (who is?) but the way in which we were spoken to was way out of order, such a shame the staff have no customer service skills as the food is awesome. I work in food retail myself so I know what's right and wrong, this woman should be sacked as she was appalling in the way she spoke to us!!!

Fish chips and mushy peas were the best ever.. Everything well organised staff very efficient and friendly. Very nice seating area outside. Worth a visit.
