No lavatories but Brunswick Centre a 3 minute walk if one has no disability. Any public service ought to provide basic amenities! (The Job Centre has no lavatories either and one is often obliged to be there a long time, and no public amenities anywhere near there either.) However, fairly informed staff for what I needed.

I contacted SBC to report three lots of dog muck outside my house. Within 4hrs it had been cleaned up. Credit where credit is due. Thank you.

I have been looked after very well in the last couple of weeks by the team in Licensing Services. Very human, approachable and helpful. Many thanks

SCARBOROUGH COUNCIL are the worst council I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with! this is general statement, and all that because of One Person with no customer services skills. The comment is targeted to one of the ladies that I had the misfortune to deal with, in many occasions Unfortunately, she has no customer service skills and the sad thing is she doesn't realise that. She can't be aware of the perception others are having about her verbal and body language. She is argumentative. she is very resentful to provide solution (no knowledge), she is not knowledgeable and she hates it when you ask to speak to her superior. In every occasion my simple solution to my enquiry was provided to me by the management (Service oriented high level of customer service, puts you at ease and understand the full process and you always get somewhere with her (The Manageress), outstanding I say). The lady at the front desk hates it when you ask to speak to the management and always repeats the same sentence to try to fob you off that there is no forward with your queries, everything is shut down for you :(:(:( 'My Manager will tell you exactly what I am telling you, no difference, therefore no need to speak to her Ref her Manager' and if you believe her and not insist to speak to her supervisor you will get no where, and yes you have to insist and insist and insist until it turns into a frustration. She treats you with total and utter contempt! It is a waste of time disputing anything with her, simply by pass her - she is ALWAYS right, not the customer. I am not sure if she is consciously or subconsciously doing it to make you feel treated like scum, excuse the terminology. I advise to train her on customer services or simply change her position to back office and to not keep her at the front office (no customer facing duty for her).

Came for an overnight stay. The que at the grand Hotel was 30 people deep so money is clearly coming into the town. Give the place a good clean up though please. Seagull and pigeon poo is starting to cover most of the place. There are wee stains all over the place which certainly aren't from the dogs and dog owners seem to be cleaning up after their selves more than the human species. Also can you please add some more signs to prevent dog walkers wondering onto the beach at the far end and not knowing where the dog friendly area stops, down at low tide you can't see any thing. Sad that some lovely places and people are being let down by others. Oh and trust me my well behaved little dog on his lead who is cleaned up after and loves everyone is the least of your worries and looking at the poverty and drug use in the town a 1000 fine would not have been well spent.
