A few of us stopped here this past Saturday. Owner was very helpful in getting us taken care of while we mostly just needed to use the restrooms. VERY wonderful setting for an event.

Beautiful place and fun atmosphere. Definitely go when live music is playing, check out the barn and go wade in the creek.
I officiated a wedding here a couple years ago, and it just exudes old world country charm. The vibe here has such a laid back hippy-folksy feel to it, but maintains a broad appeal for everyone from bikers to families to history buffs. There's a big cooler full of unique microbrews, ciders, and old school Wisconsin cheap beer, but the real draw here is the music. If you are musically inclined, bring your instrument and join on in. -Reverend Dave
On Sunday, April 14, had a great experience - hand-clapping, toe-tapping music, cozy atmosphere, a place to take friends and chat. Can't say enough about the musicians. Gladys Ressler teams with her multi-talented sister Karen, and others, to put on a memorable musical atmosphere. Council Hill Station oozes with history, including a pot-bellied heater and a table crafted from an old Singer sewing machine.
Very dissapointing! The reviews made this look amazing, but we went last Saturday afternoon and it was open but there was no music, they weren't serving any food, and didn't want to! A few local folks were there drinking. It was the opposite of the tourist info and reviews we read! I'd recommend Galena visitors stay in Galena and don't make the drive out to this place!!
