Really easy place to learn. Coach is so patient with going over technique and everyone is very helpful and friendly. You can roll at your own pace here as well unlike other gyms. I highly recommend anyone thinking of stopping by to go for it.

Best I have found in Aberdeen. Great people, with big experience and little ego. So, perfect opportunity to pick up this knowledge and make yourself a better person. Variety of classes, so you are not forced to roll if you don’t know how to do it . Coaches can really well explain what they teach in words, not only to show. Highly recommend this place!

I've trained in many gyms over the years but this is the place I consider my jits home and it's where I have done most of my learning. The gym is a team and everyone works together to bring everyone on. As a consequence of this the development of new starts and competent players is well supported.

Started here as an out of shape 40 y.o last year, and can't recommend it highly enough - it's changed my life. Brilliant coaching and a wealth of knowledge throughout the team. Super friendly, laid back and supportive atmosphere, great value - train 7 days/week for 60/month! If you're thinking about getting into BJJ, this is the place.

Started training last year at SBG Aberdeen as a complete beginner to BJJ. Fundamental classes allowed me to gain a basic understanding of the core movements at my own pace. Very welcoming atmosphere with excellent coaching and supportive training partners. Training at SBG Aberdeen is fun, challenging and set up well. Highly recommended.
