The Sandbach Crosses are two 9th-century stone Anglo-Saxon crosses erected in the market place in the town of Sandbach, Cheshire, England. They are unusually large and elaborate examples of the type and are recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building and a scheduled monument. They are eloborately carved with animals and biblical scenes.

A quaint little village with a few shops and olde worlde Black and White Pubs. It has many attractions throughout the year which are fairly interesting it has a weekly market which 30 years ago was a magnificent market but alas it is in decline, it was the place to go every Thursday back then. If your traveling by rail it is quite a long walk into town but you can catch a bus which takes you right into the centre of Sandbach.
Historic Sandbach, is a nice town to visit and shop with numerous artisan shops. The Saxon crosses are truly amazing with well thought out information boards provided for good background to these remarkable stones. The town square also hosts the Christmas Markets which are well worth a visit.
