We hired one of the all terrain wheelchairs from the shop which meant that we could have a fantastic afternoon on the beach with my 85 year old Gran who hasn't been on the beach and in the sea for many years! It was so easy to push and was only 5 for the half day. It was all ready to collect when we arrived and staff were really friendly and helpful showing us how to work the breaks on it. We also had some really nice pasties and ice creams from the cafe. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Lovely beach with miles of sand and dunes. Parking is by the hour as opposed to an all day charge down the road at Putsborough. Cafés and beach shop were excellent. There are beach huts for hire at 20 a day and also a surf school

Saunton Sands is absolutely beautiful every single day of the year. The beach shop provides good quality hot food all day long to set you up perfectly before you enjoy the 4 miles of golden sands
D.day enhancement quite good except for the weather, the food prices were a RIP off
