My wife and I came for dinner. I can't speak highly enough about this cafe. The food was excellent, from start to finish it was fresh, balanced and well made with a delightful range of flavors, textures and thoughtful combinations. They were very accommodating, helping us with the Dutch menu and explaining different dishes - they even bought our dog a water bowl. The drinks list was also great, leaving this Advanced Cicerone very pleased (excellent beer list). It was certainly better than anything we had in Amsterdam during our stay and has probably been our favorite meal of the year - it definitely puts German food to shame.
