They sell stuff from non shady manufacturers. It is more expensive than Amazon but you get UL and CSA approved components that are certified to not be dumpster fires. They're great if you need something fast and have a good inventory. I tried using their website but it's not the best user experience and usually it's quicker just to drive there and leave with what I needed. They pretty well exclusively deal with low voltage electronics so don't go there looking for parts meant for medium voltage applications.

The staff at B&E are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They carry a wide variety of items and the prices are always reasonable. Hands down the best electronics shop in the city, probably the best in the country.
