the lady staff treat us not fair, we just take away but she ask us to queue just like dining. we are not waiting for table, why need to queue? the other day i came alone, i eat halfway, the lady staff keep looking at me because i ordered drink but have not paid. she keep noticing me when i was eating and inform other staff loudly that i have not made payment. Few time i came with my friends, we ordered food first then make payment. the drink is just 3 but treat me like not going to pay. Please treat customer in respect. Hope the staff attitude can be improved.

Authentic Indonesian food, rare in Singapore. There aren’t many Indonesian restaurants in Singapore, and very few of those serve authentic food. This one does great Padang food from Sumatra, and it’s a fine experience with very friendly service. Very crowded during lunch and dinner times, often with queues, so timing your visit is essential.
One of the most authentic and flavourful padang cuisine in singapore. I kept coming back for their prawn balado and potato crips. They have sate padang too.
Authentic nasi Padang along Pahang street! Reasonably priced and a wide selection of dishes. They also offer generous amount of sambal chilli to accompany your order! Hence the lime juice which I ordered. They also have a branch at Lucky Plaza in town. Definitely worth a visit if you are craving for Padang.
We have been patronising this restaurant regularly for a few years. Service was always good. However, we had a very unpleasant situation this morning (probably new staff). As usual we try to find a table in the restaurant. There was an empty table for four inside and even more so outside. We wanted to sit at the table inside however the staff disallowed us as we came only as a couple. We were told to sit outside when there’s an empty table in the restaurant. So my point is why do they have to do that? Should there be four people to come after us surely they can put them outside where there’s more than enough tables to cater them. Such a disappointment. We left and had our meal elsewhere. I just wish this incident do not happen to others.
Good and nice authentic Indonesian food but would love if restaurant find ways to heat up the pre cook and grilled chickens using burner grill or microwave ovens as the chicken tends to be cold after display cos the place is air conditioned. Definitely more yummy if eaten hot
Great food! Like the menu here and the food is good too.. that's why you can see always there is crowd here. The servings are pretty okay and not too little. Overall a nice meal outlet.
Food is just OK if you’re looking for Indonesian but do not come expecting the usual local Malay nasi padang flavours which are sweeter and more coconutty. Portions were smallish and not cheap (65 for three diners). I found the flavours simple and underwhelming: think deep fried potato chips, pan fried mashed potatoes and pan fried eggplant topped with separately prepared chili sambal; the least appetizing was the “satay” which was tough and served with a salty sauce... I can’t blame them for being authentic to the Indonesian flavour if it indeed was but it was an unappetizing shock to my palate. The beef rendang was a messy plate of dry, stringy meat. What made this a TERRIBLE experience for us was the service. Every single time we finished a plate, a woman would swoop by and snatch it away. This happened at least 4 times even though I had registered my shock and displeasure. The last time, she even lifted up unfinished plates and wiped our table WHILE we were still eating and proceeding to dessert. And we weren’t even messy diners! I can safely say that I’ll never return.
