We’ve been going to this restaurant since it was just a tiny place down the street on Clark Road. We have sent hundreds of tourists and friends to this once wonderful Mexican oasis. However, whoever the new owners are have diluted what was good in the name of profits. The waitresses are trying their best but it is obvious that management isn’t helping. Our table as well as everyone around us who ordered margaritas were visibly disappointed. Even our waitress mentioned that other people had complained. No one drank their margaritas but management fought to make us pay for them. We will be steering people away from El Toro Loco and if you have read this far, steer clear. Save your money for a local restaurant that actually cares.

SO DELICIOUS!!!! ABSOLUTLY THE BEST MEXICAN RESTURANT IN SARASOTA IVE TRIED AT LEAST 10 DIFFERENT MEXICAN RESTURANTS IN THIS TOWN... THIS IS BY FAR TJE VERY BEST . . AWESOME SERVICE... THIS WILL BE MY REGULAR PLACE FOR GREAT FOOD..
We are locals, and this is the ONLY Mexican restaurant we go to! We eat here about once a week. The food is really good. The fajitas, special beef tips burrito, and the chips & salsa are our favorites.
This awesome family owned and operated down to earth awesome and Mexican food to die for, is now reopened and ready with open arms to feed you the way your grandma did. If you have not already met Ruben he is personable and cares about each person as if they were his own family he's a great cook and makes you want to come back for more. Don't forget taco Tuesday it's a must do once a week. Don't forget how important it is to support our local businesses and restaurants during this hardship time.
Good Mexican food! Always hot and fresh. Love the chips and salsa too.
