I had the fantastic liver with onions and gravy. It was so very, very good as was the greens and lime beans. The restaurant itself is open for take out. Very efficient and safe. Staff and customers wearing masks, and surface ares wiped down after each customer. The food is outstanding. Seasoned to perfection.

Yesterday with my regular Soul Food place being closed I thought I would try some new places in Stone Mountain and I came across Sarah's kitchen. I came in to place an order and a young man helps me and provided information about the food as I ask a lot of questions with this being my first visit. I further inquired about the history of the restaurant and the significance of Sarah's kitchen and the young man was able to tell me about his family and how the restaurant came into being. The young man told me about his grandmother and grandfather being the inspiration behind the restaurant. His grandmother is Sarah. I ordered greens, cabbage, macaroni and cheese and candied yams in one plate and another plate with fried chicken macaroni and cheese and greens. I really like the Friday chicken! The food is fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed everything that I tried yesterday. I also had a guest of mine try some of the food and they agreed with me that the food was exceptional! I can't wait to try out more options on your menu as I'm sure they will be as good as the items that I have already tried. Happy holidays and thank you for providing me with a great meal yesterday
The customer service was impeccable! The young men at the front were very polite and mannerable. The food was fresh and delicious. We had fried chicken, Mac n cheese, and collard greens. My favorite was the Mac n cheese. Most places you go to the Mac is not good. There's was very creamy and absolutely perfect. My family and I will definitely be back. Thank you for the hospitality.
I have been waiting for a chance to try this place. I have heard so many great things about it. It turns out that they were all TRUE!! Everything about Sarah’s Kitchen gets 5 stars. The restaurant is super cute, quaint, with simple decor. It gives you a real home cooking feel. I can’t say enough about how absolutely sweet the owners are. I love it when you have a feeling that a business really appreciates your business. They were extremely personable, making sure that we enjoyed the food and checking in routinely to ask if we needed anything. They really made us feel welcomed. The food was delicious! The chicken was fried to perfection, the sweet potatoes were the best I have ever had and the green beans were the bomb. My dad enjoyed his food too. He barely came up for air and the man of few words said the food was “really good.” Which is pretty darn good for a man that usually rates restaurants as “fair.” Needless to say we will definitely be back, again and again.
