The service was excellent. It was a full house and we were not aware that we had to make reservations but the waitress was so kind to squeeze us in. We ordered tapas for 2 and it was just nice. Our favourite was the grilled octopus with boiled potatoes underneath. It was well seasoned and wasn’t rubbery. The calamari rings were a bit oily but tasted great with garlic mayo which we requested for. The spanish omelettes were a bit dry and the croquettes were a bit too sweet to our liking. Overall the taste was great nonetheless. Price wise was reasonable too. Would recommend!

The only thing that makes this a 2 star review is the staff who were very accommodating. It could easily have been one. The olives were OK. The Paella was a joke. Looking at some of reviews from last year it appears they downsized the portions and instead of cooking proper paella, they are just using Uncle Ben's Microwave Rice with a few bits of mushroom thrown in for the veggie option, and meat for the normal. Mixers on drinks, a Pink Gin and Lemonade cost 7.50. 2.50 of that was a Mixer! It was a odd experience overall. We were told not to tip at the end of the meal as staff didn't get to keep it. Overall if you are looking for food in this area, skip Santiago's and go to Mowgli's next door!

Been here twice now and both times we've had a lovely time. Would recommend.
