Mick’s is the epitome of gold star, white glove service at amazingly affordable prices. When I go there I feel like they love my car as much as I do. If every business operated the way they do, there would be a lot of happier people in the world today. Businesses should take a rule out of their book.They really take pride in their work and how they interact with their customers. Unlike some Japanese car dealerships where you wonder if you are being taken advantage of, you will never feel that way coming here. They are good, kind, honest people who just want to keep your car running. I was referred there from a few coworkers who had nothing but good things to say. And now I have nothing but good things to say. They go the extra mile and provide lots of TLC. I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in Santa Cruz.

Love, love, love! Mick's Automotive was a blessing for my 2006 Toyota Corolla. My car had been making odd noises, and so many guys that I saw before hand said there was nothing wrong with my breaks. I felt I was going crazy but then I had the amazing family here at Mick's give my car a maintenance inspection. Turns out I was right and my car needed repairs immediately. They nicely gave me a call and explained everything thoroughly and how to take care of my car in the future! Definitely coming back if my car is acting up again! Super nice ! Highly reccommend.

After having moved here a year ago it’s been a struggle to find the right mechanic for my Subaru Outback. Well, my search has finally come to an end. The people at Mick’s automotive are super helpful, and the owner Tracy clearly explains the diagnosis. You can tell that he and the staff pride themselves on the work they do. They keep you informed every step of the way while setting expectations. I never felt blindsided by any diagnosis and truly felt like they were doing what was best for the customer. He was also very helpful when dealing with my third party warranty company. Highly recommend Mick’s automotive for anyone looking for a mechanic you can trust!
