Beautiful piece of architecture right by the sea. The cantilevering wave provides magnificent display of engineering possibilities with simple materials presented in contemporary fashion in an urban environment. The facade and atrium itself is a blend between modern and local (Canarian/Spanish) style with tile pieces, woodwork and concrete. Signature piece for Santa Cruz de Tenerife complimented with artwork on the rocks, featuring many of world's most significant musicians, singers and composers. A must see for leisure strollers as well as professional architects, engineers looking for inspiration or pilgrimage to this great piece of work!!!

Beautiful piece Santagio Calatrava. Close on, external finishes look like they need refreshing but overall form is still impressive. It is worth viewing the architecture from all angles as the form engages you differently from all angles. Most importantly, do not miss seeing the inside of the building which would take your breath away even more. Due to corona, it might be hard to get into space (i had to sneak in from a back of house door and snap some quick photos before they told me it was closed). But do at least climb up the public access stairs to take in the views of the expanse of the ocean from the cantilevering concrete roofs soaring above you - you will not regret it!

Didn't go inside, so eating only the building. And it's amazing. Calatrava is denying the gravity and the building looks light and delicate though its size. I'm not huge of symmetrical firms, but here it works amazing. Adding the location just at the seaside, this ship-helmet-like building is a mastery!

Steel, concrete and glass in contrast to the blue of the sky and ocean plus the green of the trees. You can take hundreds of photos of this building and each will be different. It definitely makes an impression!
