The best experience I have ever had in the leather shopping world. I came right to the factory to get some information about the leather they produce but didn’t expect to find anything meant for guests. But I have been welcomed just as if I was expected for a long time. Very good service. High quality leather. Reasonable prices. Also nice to find out that the representative speaks english very well.

The worst experience I've ever had with a tannery. At first I sent a message asking for a leather to use for belts. I got answer about the leather finish, prices and delivery, and after few more emails i ordered 13 meters. I was a little bit dissapointed when i found out that there was only 11,5m inside. The worst thing however was that although the leather was supposed to be 4 mm thick and vegetable tanned it's very very stretchy. I cannot even make a belt out of it because it stretches for like 20%! And the color is very weak, after simply rubbing it with a cloth it loses color. After contact with water the color goes everywhere... I'm buying from many tanneries from around the world but with la perla azzura I'm highly dissapointed.
