Jensen Guitar & Music Co is awesome, and the few times I have been in CA I have made a point of making it here. They definitely have a lot of hard to find stuff, and a fantastic selection of everything imaginable. Not much to say that hasn't already been said, but for the comments of \best record store in the country\...I gotta disagree. That title goes to The Sound Garden in Baltimore. Sorry, I know I am an infidel. Just by a hair though.

Leaved scratch on my guitar after changing strings
Had to have an emergency repair done before a show these guys had me out the door and no time for a marginal expense. Super knowledgeable guitar techs for both electric and acoustic. Excellent service.
I had the loveliest experience. I am trying to get back into playing the guitar and I am very tentative. So, they allowed me to go into one of their instruction rooms where it was quiet and I could really play (and even sing) unfettered by the prospect of someone 'hearing me' (ghasp!). I found the loveliest guitar and Chris, the owner was just so kind. For me, buying a musical instrument is an issue of the heart. Well, my Heart is SO HAPPY! Fabulous guitar, great price. I will definitely rely on this store for all future instrument and peripheral needs. Just a world class provider with instruments of every price and quality. Infinite Love Jilly
