Hands down the best Italian I have ever had. Me and my partner came away for a night, and with our plans being cancelled the next day we went for a few drinks and a bite to eat. Best idea ever to pre book a table here, We will definitely be back in December. Thanks for the fantastic food and great service everyone.

Love this place. Food is excellent and the space inside is well thought out. Menu has a good selection of food to offer. Desserts are wonderful and everything is made from scratch. Would highly recommend. Staff are attentive and go above and beyond.
Food excellent as usual. However, the restaurant could do with a really good clean. Glass shelves were dusty (weeks worth, not a day or two). The floor under the table had multiple items of food which hadn’t been cleaned. Unusually for this establishment the service was also very poor. Perhaps the employment of too many students is not such a good idea. We asked on three occasions for more drinks and each time the order was acknowledged. However no further drinks were brought. 150 for 3 people so I’d expect a better standard. Will visit again but rather disappointing this time.
Average Italian food (unsalted, overcooked pasta...) and not over-impressed with the service received. Being 10 min ahead appointment were sent straight to the pub for waiting (same place, two areas: the classic pub sharing entrance to the restaurant). At the back of my naif question: are you going to come to grab us, when table is free? Nop, you should come and keep asking about to find out f it's ready... Today (a normal Wednesday, with no Eat out...discounts) restaurant was full packed (back to back with my table neighbors...) accepting not all waivers wore face mask, which doesn't meet Gov requirements, btw. I will task myself to find an Italian alternative soon (no merit to give them a second chance), and don't mind if I have to travel Collingham or Harrogate
Absolutely fabulous, food is excellent and the staff are fantastic. Just a breakfast today, but will return in the very near future for a lunch or evening meal. This is the cleanest restaurant I know, very important in the present situation. Well done Catherine and your team.
