This clinic was fantastic. I am visiting Sanibel and developed UTI. I walked in and everyone was professional and courteous. I did not wait long and saw Dr Bussing. He was wonderful. Very friendly and treated me quickly. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful place to go! I was in Sanibel for vacation and had some complications. Saw Dr. Bussing and he was very caring and really tried to get to the bottom of my problems. The next day he called to check up on me and his wife, Nancy, worked to send an order back home for me. Alicia was also very sweet! When I’m back in Sanibel and if I ever have problems again, I will definitely be seeing them.
Had a very minor issue of a sliver in my foot, that my wife could not get out. The office hours listed said, they open at 9:00. We arrived at 8:50 and they were open and ready for customers. The Doctor and his wife could not have been nicer or more professional. I read some negative reviews, from the prior ownership. I could not have been more satisfied. We were out of the their in about 30 minutes or less. Great service and knowledgeable staff.
We are vacationing on our beloved Sanibel Island from North Carolina. I visited Sanibel Internal Medicine as a walk-in patient. The experience was excellent in all regards - from the moment we were greeted when we arrived to the fine care and attention provided by Dr. Bussing. He took the time to discuss my medical history, was very thorough in his examination and was concerned that the correct diagnosis was made. He explained his recommendations and prescriptions with a follow-up phone call. The experience seemed like good “old fashioned” medicine, with its personal, friendly, and yet very professional approach.
Great service, very quick and extremely thorough. Our understanding is this is a new practice in an existing location, so old reviews should not be considered to apply to this doctor and staff. Dr. Bussing was very helpful to our daughter who was 'annihilated' by no-see-ums on the first night of our visit to Sanibel Island. She has very sensitive skin and reacts badly to insect bites. We had no wait, and were taken care of exceptionally professionally, very thoroughly, and with great care. When Dr. Bussing's new software system experienced a delay in relaying the prescriptions to the neighboring CVS, his staff (in this case, his wife) literally drove the prescriptions over to the pharmacist personally! We know, because we were there waiting for them to get filled, and she found us in the store to let us know. The next day after the visit, Dr. Bussing personally called to check on our daughter. The facility is easy to locate, parking is ample, and it is very clean (freshly painted and furnished). During our visit, we learned that Dr. Bussing was not only a long-standing physician in Springfield, IL, he was also a medical school professor. If you have any need great or small (and we were grateful our need was the latter), we can't recommend Dr. Bussing and Sanibel Medical enough!
