Lovely stupa set beside the lake on the Mon side of Sangklaburi. As well as the lerge golden stupa itself, the interior is lined with various buddha and buddhist idols, most likely including Phra Utama, the revered monk who protected the Mon from the Thai authorities. Without out who the Mon Bridge would never have been built, and it's likely Sangklaburi would remain a largely overlooked village on the western border. There are also some beautiful bodhi trees, whose flowers add a beautiful foreground addition to your photos.
For good luck you have to come here and rub the balls of the two lions in front of the temple.
Rich with Myanma culture over Thai territory, highly recommend
Huge gold tower, many statue around, enough bells to enjoy the sound, some are awesome.
