Lovely stop off with beautiful views on our bike ride from Weymouth to Portland on the cycle path along old disused railway line.... just a slight detour, well signposted, we litter picked the area. TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME!! small take away cafe

Interesting ruins by the sea. Once inside the main building there is a walkway around the inside and a viewing platform looking out to sea. Some of the doors/entrances are fenced off so you can only look through. Castle ruins are directly surrounded by a lush green grassy area, which is next to some lovely gardens. Part of the castle has fallen down onto the rocks below; this can be found via the beach.

It is a little castle ruin, with lovely little garden in front. There is no ticket needed, access is free, you can walk around and enter it inside. The views are really great! I parked my car along the street without a problem, parking is free. A short visit would be sufficient.

Nice on a sunny day! Gardens with palm trees / pond, nice little cafe to. Can go in the castle ruins, I found it interesting! (I do like a nice castle) also free to enter.
