Dined here for my mother in Law’s birthday. The decor is really relaxed and comfortable. The reception we received was great. A party of four of us were made to feel very welcome. The food served was simply wonderful, the smoked salmon starter was beautifully presented and the main (Jewel of Game) was just divine. Good selections of wine and even a dry Sherry for me (which wins extra points in my book).

We got there too early and they happily opened up for us and we got drinks straight away. The dining room is lovely and the staff were great, giving enough attention and a friendly atmosphere. It was a family meal and we all really enjoyed it. We all had starters and mains of different meals, which were all faultless
Very good food, presentation lovely. The staff were all pleasant despite the hot weather. The interior was traditional and comfortable. We were in the snug which meant only 3 tables so not many tables, worked well for social distancing. This is very much an adult menu and ambience, not a place for kids. The menu selection and price reflects that. Would easily recommend.
Had a fabulous evening meal here. Tables were spaced evenly and toilets restricted to one person at a time and saw staff regularly cleaning tables so felt perfectly safe. I had cheese souffle and chicken breast with risotto, all the food was fresh and cooked from scratch and was delicious. We also received great customer service, all the staff were friendly, our food and drinks were really prompt but didn't feel rushed whatsoever. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone, we'd love to come back if we are in Leyburn again!
A lovely little pub in Leyburn with reasonably priced drinks and food. Serving the finest 54 North from Black Sheep brewery. I ate a chilli chicken sandwich which was full or flavour. A dog friendly pub that provides dog biscuits and a bowl of water. May struggle getting parked, pigs operate in the area so be careful. Will be back to this family friendly pub when I visit Leyburn again.
