My husband Paul visits the store regularly (usually on a Friday evening) to purchase “Duchy Organic” dairy products including “whole milk”, “skimmed milk”, “low-fat natural yoghurt” (which hasn’t been in stock for ages) and “thick & creamy natural yoghurt”. The store (quite understandably) doesn’t put the latest (far-dated) stock out on the shelves until the previous (near-dated) stock is almost gone. Since we tend to do a week’s shopping at a time, Paul always needs to ask a member of staff to go into the (non-public) storage area and retrieve some far dated stock for him (as the near-dated stock would not last us the week). Generally speaking, most of the staff are quite helpful most of the time. However, we want to make a special mention of Andy (who works on the shift that runs till 3am Saturday morning). Andy has gone out of his way on several occasions to assist my husband, (without even being asked), when it was obvious to Andy that Paul was struggling to find the far dated stock that we needed. On one occasion, Andy even arranged for us to have a complimentary bottle of milk in recognition of the fact that the store did not have what we needed. Absolutely brilliant, professional and empathetic customer service! We hope that Andy gets the recognition within Waitrose that his really great attitude deserves. Thank you Andy!

Waitrose has long been the goto place in Sandbach for quick visits or even bigger shops. Much of the fresh food is extremely expensive and although the produce is of good quality I personally don't feel it's justified. It does have a great and wide variety however, so if you're after something more obscure, it's likely Waitrose will stock it. They also offer a dry cleaning service and click 'n collect for John Lewis. Cafe on site, toilets too. Good wines, beers and spirits section. Also homeware, books and magazines. Staff are very friendly and helpful
First time I’ve done Waitrose click & collect. I shop here as they are the only store that sells my special bread. Really good service & avoids me having to go in the store. Best for everyone
