Sand Point and Middle Hope are great walking areas and worth a visit, but the National Trust have locked off the extension car park (to preserve the grass) so car parking is extremely limited. No end of cars arrived and had to go away again. Also 5 to park seems rather excessive; of course it's free for NT members.

Enjoyed my visit and thoroughly enjoyed the views. Getting to the car park can be a bit of an obstacle course with foot and vehicle traffic but it's well worth the effort. I lost track of how long I was actually here, if you like aircraft then you're in for a treat as commercial aircraft play over this heading for Bristol Airport.

Very peaceful place, Middle hope beach is usually very quiet. Lovely views. St Thomas head has an old abandoned military base (open to public) which has had all buildings removed (except for some structures in the ocean) for safety reasons. Many small coral fossils on most rocks so look out for those.

Good spot. National Trust Car park paid by app. Or dont pay If you member. Just leave your card behind windscreen. About 2 hrs walk to explore whole site.

Always loved it here, when i first came here i was just 8 years old with my mom and dad am 49-year-old now and still love it every time i come to Weston super mare for my holiday Sand point is a must because it holds so so many memories for me as for the parking it used to be free of charge and there was a public toilet as well. The toilets have gone now so i suggest find the nearest bush
