Smokers Section next to waiting line. While waiting to go down the ropeway, there is a smoker section right next to the waiting line. This ropeway terminal is encouraging smokers to create second hand smoke against their fellow passengers.
Amazing hike up Mt. Nokogiri. You can take a cable car up and down the mountain, but I highly recommend taking the trails at least to the top. It will definitely be less crowded during the week, as I went on a Monday around 10:00.
Very nice place! Pretty views and fun to walk past all the arhats (small statues) along the way down. We went on a hike from the very bottom (the harbour and train station), all the way up to the top of the Temple. It was a steep climb, and took about 2 hours (slow pace with a lot of photo breaks), but worth the time.
