Sakura is one of my favorite places to eat. My 27th birthday I went there with friends last minute and about 3 hours before closing. The owner came out and was our hibachi chef for the evening. He made the night super special. When Covid broke out they pushed for online orders and would bring them out to your car. They also got picnic tables so you could eat outside and social distance. Today Sakura came through. The town was hit with snow the roads are just starting to clear. Most the town is without power and the other half is with out water. Sakura staff came in powered up the big gas grills and made a modified menu. The majority of the places that are open have lines wrapped around their buildings. Theirs little to no line at Sakura and the food always amazes. I'm so thankful they are open and working what they can. I currently have no power at home and no water for 2 days.

By far the best sushi I have had. We came from Fort Worth to San Marcos on vacation and I was so glad we picked this restaurant. All you can eat sushi and it didn't diminish is flavor. The rice was even perfect. Keep up the good work. Wish we had one near the Texas Motor Speedway!

An amazing dining experience for the budget minded family. I have never been disappointed here. The family loves eating at this establishment.

All you can eat sushi is an awesome value for the money! It would be a great cheap date spot but I ate alone. My meal came to 21 tip but I also added on salmon and yellow tail nagiri. Pretty empty other than maybe a couple of other guests but the staff was attentive and my server seemed happy to be there. I will definitely be back. Desert was included but I was too stuffed!

We got the hot pot and it was excellent. It's awesome the way they have it set up. Each person has their own hot pot which is good in the time of covid. The spicy soup was excellent. It was spicy and you can feel the burn but it tastes so good you can't stop eating. My 9 year old had the regular soup and she kept saying I'm so full but I have to keep eating. The hot pot is all ala carte so you don't get things that you don't want. We will definitely be back.
