Stopped by on a whim after I was out shopping and got hungry. I called in the order for pick up and service was excellent. The staff was friendly, food was amazing, and the timing matched exactly what I was told. I appreciated that when I went in they went out of their way to wipe their machine, my card, and pen during our transaction. I'm not an SJ local but if I'm in the area again would surely stop by!

In A Nutshell: -Sweet Mango located in Willow Glen has been serving mouth-watering Burmese/Chinese comfortfood for years! -Everything on their menu is perfect. -Their food, even in take-out form tastes great. -I suggest ordering their famous Tea Leaf Salad, Pineapple Fried Rice, Tom Yum Soup, Eggplant/Basil, Mango Chicken & Roti Prata. -They also have \sweet\ customer service! Overall, this is a gem if you want your tongue to salivate & have a delicious time.

I came across this small business while I was searching to get Chinese food on Christmas night. Really close by and amazing reviews so I called them to pick up for take-out! The lady who helped me was so kind and I was excited to try the great food everyone was raving about in the reviews. But I was so so disappointed. I got 3 dishes and all 3 were extremely underwhelming and tasted not very fresh. I love supporting small businesses and I know these types of reviews do only harm but the reason why I thought I would share my experience was because one of the dishes (sweet and sour pork) was undercooked. I spit it out as it was way too chewy only to find out it was raw. No food should be consumed raw unless that’s the purpose. I don’t ever see pork being consumed raw so I think we can conclude that this wasn’t intentional. This is dangerous and I hope no one else experiences this. I’ll add photos once I’m at a computer but just wanted to make sure everyone does their due diligence when they order here next.

The best food in the world. If you haven't been here you haven't lived. Period. Go now. Just get up from whatever you are doing and go to Burma Super Star.

First off, it's Christmas Night. This was our first time. We come here and it is packed!!! We got the last table for 2 and got seated immediately, otherwise it would have been an hour wait! So, excellent service. 3 different people came and asked for our drink order. We were impressed by their decorative plates. We ordered the shredded pork Entree, and a mixed chow mein with pot stickers. All were very good. I ordered the fried bananas with mango ice cream for dessert. The batter on the bananas was very good too. If they were plantains instead, i think they would have earned 5 stars. Otherwise, this is a solid 4 and we'll be back.
