I grew up in the land of steakhouses. San Francisco is like the antithesis of that place I once called home. So when someone said Harris' is the best steak house in all of San Francisco, I went running. I was really disappointed. It's decent but nothing to write home about. In that place far far away, this would be a mid level steakhouse. Maybe in the 25 to 30/steak range. Definately not worth 45 a pop.

Amazing beef curry
Always a wait for dinner... and the guy at the host stand is really kind of rude. BUT - I assume it's because it is crowded. On the other hand the people inside (servers) are the NICEST and most attentive even when busy. i love this place.
Golden Burma Restaurant are difficult for me to choose between. Have loved everything I have ever eaten here. The samosa soup is possibly my favorite soup ever.
Hearty, healthy, spiced but not spicy, vegetarian, hot Samosa soup on a cold day in SF! Next time, I'll have the Burmese chicken curry or Tea leaf salad which looked yummy too..
