Did this escape room some time ago with my sister and her husband. There was only one staff member there when we did it but he was very good at his job and very friendly as well. We had a great time figuring out the clues and loved the mystery. Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves solving mysteries and/or is looking for an activity to do in San Diego with their friends or family.

Having done escape rooms before, this one was truly different than any others, mostly because we were able to come and go to the bathroom rather than be locked inside for the hour long adventure that most escape rooms typically do. I do not know if it was for the group of friends I was with, or if it was just this set up overall, but, I and my friends had a great time! We did the Lazarus Crystal challenge and that one had some parts in it that stumped us, but only because when you have too many personalities in one room not wanting to listen to one another, it can create a bit of chaos, but, that's all in the fun, correct?! The staff provide you with assistance if needed and make it lively with their presentations and the like prior to entering. I highly recommend this adventure and look forward to going again in the future.

This was a last minute purchase and I didn't know what to expect- I haven't done an escape room experience before. I went with a friend of mine who enjoys puzzles and we had the best time! I called the day before to inquire about a reservation and the gentleman on the phone was professional and very helpful. Courtney, who welcomed us upon our arrival, was a pleasure and a great host. The entire experience from start to finish was truly awesome and I am so excited to try another escape room- possibly the virtual reality experience! Highly recommend.

Don’t be fooled like we were by their high rating. Most of the 5-star reviews were written by profiles with only 1 review. This barely passed as an escape room. They boast of their technology and lack of locks like other rooms. While true that there were no locks, there was also no technology. Each “level” is manually triggered by the game master after you perform certain (somewhat random) tasks to his liking. There’s only one room, but if you like red herrings, you’ll be pleased to know there are enough to feed an army of sharks. There was next to no logic in the flow or the puzzles (if you can call them that). We reached the objective with plenty of time, but frankly we were just glad it was over.

My first time at the Enigma HQ escape room in Little Italy. It was a great experience from purchasing tickets on line until the end of the escape. Robert/Brian Hacker was funny, knowledgeable, and professional in his introduction to the day. We were taken into our room and left to find the clues, all the while, the TV monitor offered some advice and gave us the hints we asked for, we were kept focused on the solution without being given the answers. It was a fun filled experience and I will do it again! (There were no hidden fees or surprise charges!)
