Dr Rodriguez is great. It’s the front that’s irritation! Good luck trying to call; you get put on hold and sometimes they don’t even let you say anything. It can be a 20 second question and they could of been done. It’s not a quick hold either It’s literally 15-30 minute holds each time. I understand it’s only one or two people in the front but if this many people are calling and they are that busy, management needs to step up and hire more front desk people! It’s really frustration having to wait a half hour to ask a 20 second question. I have to take a whole half hour out of my day just to sit and wait for them to answer one simple question. Poor management

I have been seeing Dr. Hain at Health Texas for several years. They are usually always on time with appointments. Today they were running way behind. I had to wait about an hour past my appointment time. However, when I did get to see Dr. Hain, she treated me as if I was the only patient she had. She took the time to answer all my questions. My point is, it was worth the wait to see her. It’s hard to find a primary physician that I trust to provide me with the most current medical advice, is confident enough to provide her honest opinion on treatments, and takes into account my unique needs and preferences. I would highly recommend Dr. Hain as a PCP.

Recently, I was looking for a medical specialist and reading Google reviews. What I read, plus the poor experience I've had with my Dad's doctor, have convinced me that it's tough to find a good doctor with a good office staff in this town Fortunately, the Health Texas office on Austin Highway has both and I want to recognize their excellence. I've been a patient of Dr April Hain Trevino for about 10 years, starting at the previous office on Sunset and following her to Austin Highway. She is very professional and personable. Occasionally, I've had to wait a few minutes past my appointment time, but that's not the norm. The staff is friendly, efficient, competent, etc... The Health Texas patient portal is excellent. I use it to request appointments, refills, and to review lab work when it comes back. If any lab results are abnormal, the staff calls me to alert me and follows up with any questions I have. It can take a couple of weeks to get a routine appointment, but that's to be expected. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this office and Dr Hain.

Had an absolutely perfect visit. Dr. Orlando Rodriguez was very knowledgeable and thorough. Staff was kind and efficient. I could not have expected more.
