Wonderful place to visit. One of my fondest memories, is taking my two young grandsons there in the heat of the summer. We got there about an hour early because I didn't check the opening time. Instead of going back home, we walked over to the farmer's market, bought a watermelon, pulled out my pocket knife and sat right there and ate watermelon while waiting for the museum to open. They had a great time in the museum. The folks that run it have put in an extraordinary amount of work to keep the place updated and there is some really cool railroad items there. Highly recommended.

This is an awesome place to take your train enthusiast. We have a 5-year old that loves trains. The whole family ended up enjoying this excursion. The men that were giving tours were so nice and knowledgeable. The volunteers that ran the little gift shop were so helpful. This museum lets you get up close and personal with the trains. There is even a Thomas Model Train that your kids can run. They have three or four rooms that are very elaborate model train setups. They are awesome. It is amazing how beautiful some of them are. This is a great place to stop. You get way more than your monies worth out of this experience.
Awesome place to take the kiddos to check out the trains and be able to be on them. My kiddos really enjoyed playing on them and asking questions on them. Great for all ages
It's cool to look inside and learn a thing or two. The manager was knowledgeable and awesome.
Whether you're from town or from out of town this was a really fun place to go. All kinds of info about the old train lines.
