Anyone leaving a good review on here must not eat BBQ very often. My brisket was dry and tasted more like a crock pot roast than a smoked brisket. I've had better beans out of a Bush can. And the coleslaw may as well of just been shredded cabbage with a little pepper. Huge disappointment for 18 a plate.

After riding past a few times, decided to give Sam's a shot and was pleasantly surprised. Every meat from Sausage, Pork, Chicken, Brisket and Turkey was juicy and delicious which is hard enough to pull off and do well for 1. A sleeper amongst sides was the Mac and Cheese. Was not expecting the extra creaminess that it had along with big noodles. Pictured is the Sweet and Spicy Wings, Wet Brisket, Sampler Platter with Potato Salad, Collards and Mac & Cheese.
This is one of my favorite East Cobb BBQ places. My favorite is the Brisket, however the pork is wonderful and they have a solid menu.
I ordered two pounds of turkey to pick up a day later. Not only was it AMAZINGLY delicious but there was definitely more turkey than just two pounds. BBQ1 gets all of my special holiday business now. Also, their wings are very good!
Saw this place on TV. Visiting from out of state. THE GIANT beef short rib is phenomenal, definitely worth the visit.
