Great veg restaurant - very good food, especially the gujrati thali. Lovely decor and exemplary staff. Plus they play some really pleasant music which adds to the ambience and makes your dining experience 10x better. This has become our go to place for celebrations and stuff.
The hospitality was too good..food quality and taste was top notch.. I highly recommend you guys to try this place out..
"Samrat" is known for good quality food that includes Thali System as well as a la carte, in Gujarati, and Punjabi cuisine for many many years. I don't remember, how many? The service is even better than food. The guests/diners get sense of euphoria eating here. The establishment has maintained their tradition of finest food and courteous service till this day, albeit, the footsteps might have reduced significantly of late, due to Corona pandemic but the tradition of excellence remains. Soon people will start 'crowding' the place and the 'Samrat may again have to appoint an usher at the main gate to maintain the wait list of aspiring diners. The place is really good.
I went to this restaurant last week as I was very excited to try out the Thali. The food was good.. ambience calm and soothing. However as compared to other Thaali options Samrat has bit less variety. Also what was disappointing that they have only one sweet and that too you can't have second serving.. unless you are ready to pay extra I mean seriously?!!
The welcome says it all. If u have a reservation and u arrive on time, u r led to your table sanitised and laid out. After a breather u r handed over the menu. Very neat and simple the menu is listed to make your choice easy and secure on a hand held tab. Your choice is read out to u and confirmed. The choice of a Gujarati Thali proved to be a balanced meal.A good Thali, not a GREAT Thali, enjoyable by the family. The burps around said it all, only need to confirm with the estate that no soda bi carb was used? The bill was not scary, except, except, u ordered a la carte, when u realised that the cost of a single dish could cost u more than u bargained for. VFM value for money.
Visited this place for a quick lunch between back to back meetings.. great ambience, tasty food, reasonably priced at that and efficient service. Tried south Indian food here and became a fan.. looking forward to visit again.
The ambience and the feel of the place is very nice but the food wasn’t upto the mark for us. The palak soup was very ok ok, Russian salad was good but the paneer and other Indian stuff just average( seemed to be cooked and kept long before and not fresh ). The thali over here is very famous and a must try if u don’t mind Gujrati food. The green chutney and Achars were good.
